This special workshop is designed to give ACDAL pre-test candidates all the relevant knowledge, skills, safety procedures, questions and answers for the DSA “show me tell me” part of the practical driving test.
Sessions are held on the 2nd Thursday of every month at our headquarters in Catford southeast London (see map) where we accept up to 10 pupils in our classroom. There will also be some outdoor practical work so pupils are reminded to dress appropriately for the British weather.
In the event that there are not enough pupil’s attending a workshop, i.e.; more than 2, then sessions will be conducted up to a 2:1 basis at a suitable location or added to the driving lesson.

Dyslexia:
This workshop is specifically designed to encourage, aid the reading and the understanding of the HIGHWAY CODE and other relevant materials. Our trainers will assist those pupils who experience difficulty doing so, therefore giving the pupil the confidence to attend and gain a theory test PASS.
These workshop sessions are conducted at the pupil’s home, or where there is more than 1 pupil wanting a session on the same day then the workshop will take place at our headquarters in Catford se6 (see map). Sessions are conducted on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis. You don’t have to be a current ACDAL pupil to attend, just call our main telephone numbers or Email us and we will endeavour to accommodate you on the next available session.

Dual Carriageways:
We offer all our learners dual carriageway lessons in order to give them the necessary skills for joining, leaving faster moving roads and where possible experience the national speed limit
.
Motorways:
If you are an experienced driver but lack for confidence to drive on motorways or if you just never had the opportunity to drive on the motorway and will need to do so in the near future, then we are just what you need.
Our Instructors are well trained and are sympathetic to any problems you may have.
Your instructor will guide you through all the signs and varying speeds limits you may come across whilst doing the course, he or she will also make sure you are comfortable at all times and will ensure that you are safe and competent before finishing the course.
It should also be noted that driving should also be fun, so relax, take the plunge and we are sure you will be fine.

Pass Plus:
What is it? It’s a scheme run by the driving standards agency in conjunction with many of the leading UK motor insurance companies. It is a short course of further driving training.
We at All Class Driving Academy offer all newly qualified drivers the opportunity to take this course of positive driving and it consists of: Town Driving, Country Driving,
Motorway, Dual Carriageway, All Weather and Night driving.
When you complete the course to the training instructors satisfaction you will receive a certificate, which you can send in to a participating motor insurance company and you will gain a discount, which could exceed the cost of the Pass Plus course, sometimes in excess of 30%.
You will have a minimum of 1 hour on each module with the first module being the theory and town-driving module.
If your instructor feels that the 6-hour minimum time allowed is not enough he/she will discuss this with you.
Your instructor is obliged to ensure that you reach an acceptable standard of driving before issuing a completion certificate. You are assessed throughout the course; there is no driving test at the end.
Fact:
Newly qualified drivers who do not take additional training are more likely to crash than anyone else, as over half the deaths caused by drivers in any year are caused by people aged 17-25.

Driver Improvement/Advanced Driving:
Whether you are just a regular driver or PDI (Potential Driving Instructor) and you wish to harness and develop your driving skills and possibly gain up to a 30% reduction in insurance premiums then this is the course for you.
The Diamond Advanced Motorists Test, which has been developed and conducted by the Driving Instructors Association (DIA), can be taken at various centres around the country, as there are over 100 specially trained examiners to conduct them.
One of our specially trained instructors will assess your driving ability, and then advise you on the level of training needed to gain a pass. You will be trained to a high standard where you will demonstrate to the examiner that you can maintain a high level of concentration, skill, awareness and planning, driver attitude and safe driving.
Every road and traffic situation will need to be totally under the control of the driver.
Driver errors will include a number of items, which would normally be discounted at learner driver levels.
These would include items of driving performance which would normally be expected of an experienced driver, making progress by taking suitable opportunities for overtaking and by being aware of all other traffic and road hazards at all times.
The D.A.M Test is marked on a six-driver fault system where you must achieve no more than that number to pass.
You will be required to read a number plate from 27.5 metres (or 90ft) with the indexes the size of 79.4 millimetres high (or 3 1/8th of an inch).
You will be driving on motorways, dual carriageways, country lanes and in built up areas.
During the drive you will be asked to carry out a series of manoeuvres, which are.
1. Emergency stop.
2. Reverse park the vehicle into a space behind a parked car and within a distance of one and a half car lengths, close to and parallel with the curb (about a tyres width away) or reversing into a parking bay.
3. Turn in the Road: Turn the vehicle around to face the opposite direction by using the forward and reverse gears.
4. Drive your vehicle in reverse and whilst doing so enter limited openings to the right and left.
We recommend Potential Driving Instructors PDI’S take the Diamond Advanced Motorist test as a mock part 2 exam.
